Australian Gay Rights Tribute
A touching video tribute to Australia’s fight for LGBT equality was shared this morning on Towleroad, and I wanted to pick up and pass this along.

April 14th, 8pm at The Wilbur Theater in Boston
Hey Dancing Queen – yeah you… An ABBA Tribute show is coming to Boston on Sunday, April 14th. I know you’ll say Mama Mia and send out an S.O.S. if you miss them singing hits like Take A Chance On Me (okay I’ll stop, I’m aware of how annoying this is becoming).
NOTE: Tickets sales cut off Sunday, April 7th or when they sell out.
Not sure if you’ve seen this video clip, but apparently students in Tralee, Ireland have dubbed scenes from Tarantino’s film Pulp Fiction in a Kerry accent. I love it when Vince (John Travolta) and Jules (Samuel L. Jackson) say “royale with cheese” in the Kerry accent, it is absolutely hilarious.

Fast Company has a cool article any architecture enthusiast will love. The city has shared renderings for new The Transbay, a multi-modal transit hub in the heart of San Francisco, which includes a 5.4 acre rooftop park. The three city block building will include a bus depot, train tracks and other transit infrastructure below a massive 1,000-foot office tower.
The city is targeting a 2017 opening for the Transbay. If you’d like to read more, check out the full article, here.
Around this time yesterday a large, vibrant rainbow could be seen spanning much of downtown Boston. Coincidence this occurred as the Boston Red Sox were spanking the New York Yankees in their first game of the 2013 MLB season? I think not.
Thanks to Jennifer Walsh who took the photo and Universal Hub for sharing it
Sergio has dashed off to Brazil to be with his family for the next two weeks. When we first met, Sergio was a flight attendant for United Airlines so I was accustomed to his coming and going but that stopped years ago. Now that he has his own lighting design business, Mazon Lighting Design, the only travel he does involves driving to client sites so the apartment seems strangely serene quiet.
Truth be told, I enjoy my quiet time and I’ll fall into a routine quickly enough, but today I do miss him – it is the saying good bye and the initial surprise of a home that’s gone suddenly still that takes some getting use to. I have grand plans to tidy up the apartment, organize every shelf and drawer, get to the gym each day and read a stack of books – but we’ll see how that goes. I’m great at making plans but sometimes the follow through leaves a bit to be desired.
This blog is my guilty pleasure and I want to say a quick thank you to everyone who takes time to browse through my posts. You can also check me out on Facebook here, www.facebook.com/BosGuyblog.
Recently I’ve also started using Google+ so reach out and add me to your circles.
Do you like short shorts? I do when the person has a killer body like this guy. I couldn’t rock this look, but I’d be distracted to no end if he walked into my gym. Thanks to Seduced by the New blog for bringing this guy to my attention.
I’m not sure how I missed this gem of a video and perhaps you’re one of the more than a million viewers who have either seen this or one of the many other versions of this same video on YouTube.
However, when my friend Michael shared this clip while I was up in Vermont earlier this week, I knew I was going to post it on my blog. I hope it gives you a chuckle.
Some of the photos we snapped at the March fundraiser for the Theater Offensive’s climACTS! Unbound are in the current issue of Bay Windows, that dropped last Thursday.
There are more photos from that night in a quick video I pulled together that you may watch below if you like. Thanks to everyone who was gracious enough to pose and to Sergio for doing such a great job snapping pictures for the blog.
