I can’t believe it was 27 years ago today that Madonna’s video for Like A Prayer was released by Sire Records. I can still smell the patchouli infused glued wrapper. In addition to Like A Prayer, I would become obsessed with Express Yourself, Cherish and the unreleased, Act of Contrition.

The Theater Offensive (TTO) annual FUNdraiser, climACTS! is Thursday, April 28th at Stage Nightclub – 19 Boylston Place Boston. The party will be emceed by David Brown, DJ Brent Covington will be on hand and Cuban-American performance artist Octavio Campos will be joined by an ensemble of sexy dancers and performers.
Check out this video I put together from a climACTS! fundraiser from a couple years ago. It will better explain what I mean when I say this isn’t your typical, stuffy fundraiser; it is actually quite a bit of fun.

The new Absolutely Fabulous movie trailer was released last week. While it doesn’t really give any clues about the film, I’m interested in seeing the movie.
Pity you can’t bring a bottle of Veuve Clicquot to the movies; it seems like the appropriate beverage to have while watching the movie. Don’t you agree?
I love the singer Sia and the ridiculous wigs she wears so she can maintain her privacy. She recently appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden in his reoccurring skit “Carpool Karaoke” and she absolutely crushed it. The Bear-Naked Chef better known as Adrian De Berardinis is back with the third episode of his cooking show. In this episode Adrian cooks parpadelle pasta with bacon & peas in a video that runs about eleven and one half minutes long.
