Have a sense of humor and enjoy this video with Jennifer Garner. Obviously be careful where you play this since the video is laced with profanities. I’m sure parents can relate to this far better than me, but even I think it is hilarious.
In a nod to 1950’s style radio and TV jingles, Boy Butter shares their newest TV advertisement, which premieres on Rupaul’s Drag Race Monday’s at 9 pm starting March 7th, 2016 on LOGO and OutTV.
I can’t believe it was 27 years ago today that Madonna’s video for Like A Prayerwas released by Sire Records. I can still smell the patchouli infused glued wrapper. In addition to Like A Prayer, I would become obsessed with Express Yourself, Cherish and the unreleased, Act of Contrition.
Much thanks to BosGuy reader, Jordan, for sharing this spoof on the Oscar nominated film, Spotlight. The video pokes fun at Boston for everything from terrible coffee (courtesy of DD) to the MBTA which they describe as “a silly little trolley”. Based on recent problems with the T, who am I to refute that criticism?
The Theater Offensive (TTO) annual FUNdraiser, climACTS! is Thursday, April 28th at Stage Nightclub – 19 Boylston Place Boston. The party will be emceed by David Brown, DJ Brent Covington will be on hand and Cuban-American performance artist Octavio Campos will be joined by an ensemble of sexy dancers and performers.
Check out this video I put together from a climACTS! fundraiser from a couple years ago. It will better explain what I mean when I say this isn’t your typical, stuffy fundraiser; it is actually quite a bit of fun.
If you’ve never attended the TTO’s annual fundraiser, I’d highly recommend you check it out. For more information or to get tickets link here.
The new Absolutely Fabulous movie trailer was released last week. While it doesn’t really give any clues about the film, I’m interested in seeing the movie.
Pity you can’t bring a bottle of Veuve Clicquot to the movies; it seems like the appropriate beverage to have while watching the movie. Don’t you agree?
I love the singer Sia and the ridiculous wigs she wears so she can maintain her privacy. She recently appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden in his reoccurring skit “Carpool Karaoke” and she absolutely crushed it. Enjoy the sing along (and join in) as you pass time and wait for the weekend to start. #TGIF
Many people make New Year’s resolutions each year and it is usually right about now that a lot of us give up on them. I stumbled upon this really inspiring YouTube video of someone who has an interesting story that I wanted to share.
Grab your friends and get your tickets to The Realish Housewives of Boston. Even if you are not s reality TV fan, this parody of the demented series looks like it is going to be hilarious.
Get ready for oodles of hometown reality in this parody performance, where you’ll meet Rovanka, the baroness of an uncertain ethnicity; Claudia Louise, glamorous and conniving in equal measure; Desiree, neck supermodel; Brooke, self-made business tycoon; and Gwen, the only one in the bunch with half a brain. “The Realish Housewives of Boston” is an original play created by comics, Kate James and Tim Sniffen. It roles into Boston for a limited engagement starting Tuesday, March 29th through Sunday, April 3rd.
Boston may be in the middle of our winter, but The Crown & Anchor in Provincetown is sending all of us warm thoughts by teasing us with their plans for Independence Week 2016. Check out their list of parties and watch the promo video that the Crown & Anchor just released.

The Bear-Naked Chef better known as Adrian De Berardinis is back with the third episode of his cooking show. In this episode Adrian cooks parpadelle pasta with bacon & peas in a video that runs about eleven and one half minutes long.
The recipe shown below is inspired by a dish from one of Adrian’s favorite New York City Italian restaurants, Bar Pitti in Soho.
If you’ve not watched the scantily clad (he only wears an apron) chef, I’d suggest you check it out. I made his Paccheri Con Gamberi a couple of weeks ago and it was both easy and delicious.
I’ve featured Yanis Marshall, a French choreographer and dancer who likes dancing in heels. Maybe this will get you in the right mood before you head out.
Last week Adam Driver was the guest host on Saturday Night Live. The show was pretty good but the Doctor is in my butt 4 skit also known as “Porn Doctor” where Driver played Doctor Rockhard was pretty funny.
