riddleEach Friday morning I post a riddle to get you to think outside the box and exercise your brain.

If you are stumped, share it with a friend or colleague to see if you can figure it out together.

I’ll confirm answers later in the day so don’t worry if you don’t see your comment posted right away. I want to give everyone a chance.

Schweddy Fourth

4th of July ForecastFingahs crossed that this week’s forecast is correct because Provincetown is the perfect place to escape to when it gets wicked hot like this.

For those unfamiliar, 90F = 32C – or as I call it, purrfect.

Ptown or bust

Provincetown FrerryI leave on the 2PM high speed Provincetown ferry but will be blogging and tweeting from this tiny town at the tip of the Cape through the weekend.  If you happen to celebrate July 4th, have a wonderful and safe Independence Day.

Blink! A light and sound extravaganza

Blink! A Light and Sound Extravaganza returns to Faneuil Hall Marketplace for a special summer edition. Blink!More information is available soon on bostonblinks.com.  Thanks to Adam at Boston Hospitality and Tourism Industry Blog for the tip.

Gay marriage does not cause hurricanes

PoliticsThis quote from the HBO series, Newsroom, perfectly describes the main problem I have with the Republican Party.  One might choose to believe that the Republican Party isn’t quite that extreme, but I’d like to remind everyone of the responses from many in the Republican Party after the Supreme Courts’ rulings on the Defense of Marriage Act and California’s shameful Prop 8.

Andy HusbandsLooking for an excuse to go out tonight?  Have you hit up Andy Husbands $2 Taco Tuesday at Tremont 647 and Sister Sorel?

If you’re looking for a fun cheap eats option in Boston, head over to Tremont 647 and Sister Sorel and enjoy some tasty tacos and tell Andy “BosGuy” sent you over.  I need me some complementary tacos so I can spend my $ on Planters Punch at the Boat Slip this week.

Lets have a kiki

Lets have a kikiJasun Mark  has teamed up with his buddies Justin King and Dario Beck and found a fun way to deal with being stuck in rush hour traffic, while driving from Los Angeles to Palm Springs.

You may recall that earlier this spring my buddy, Dirk Caber, participated in a similar car video, singing along to Kylie’s song, Timebomb.

With many Americans now obsessing about a short work week, this call for a kiki seems timely – enjoy.

This is Boston

I absolutely love this 4 minute video by Filmmaker Sean Collins who said he created this timelapse video  to pay tribute to Boston.

If you’ve never been to Boston, this clip will show you all the major sites from the comfort of wherever you happen to be, and if you are a Bostonian now living elsewhere, this will certainly bring a smile to your face and fill you with pride.

You can read the article by Steve Annear that features this clip on Boston Magazine here.
